Every year since 1996, Australians have come together to recognise White Balloon Day for the purpose of protecting kids and preventing child sexual assault.
Friday September 7th marks the 22nd year of Bravehearts’ White Balloon Day and we hope YOU will join us by hosting an event or organising an activity to mark this very important day on the child protection calendar.
Whether you wish to recognise the day with a small gesture of support, or go all out and arrange a fundraising event, there is a way for you to show you care about protecting Aussie kids.
By fundraising for White Balloon Day, you are helping to ensure that child survivors get the specialist counselling they need and preventative education is provided to Australian kids.
There are several ways you can raise funds, ranging from hosting a small morning tea among friends, to planning something bigger such as a special White Balloon Day luncheon or dinner. There are also many simple fundraising activities you can choose from, if you prefer to keep things simple.
