6 Jul 2021

Bravehearts is thrilled to share a recent partnership with Busy Bees Australia as a major sponsor for our White Balloon Day annual Giving Day. Bravehearts’ Corporate Partnerships Manager Michelle Borkowski spoke with Fiona Alston, COO at Busy Bees Early Learning Australia about why they chose to partner with Bravehearts.

“At Busy Bees Australia, our children, people, families and communities are the heart of our business and we always strive to make sure that they are each safe, happy, healthy and supported. Busy Bees Australia have identified “4 Pillars” being Sustainability, Wellbeing, Child Protection and Community to remain socially responsible in everything we do.”

“Child Protection is a key area of focus for Busy Bees Australia because the safety of our children is paramount. We believe everyone has a part to play in the wellbeing of our children and protecting them from harm. As early childhood educators, each day we take care of the children entrusted to us. Braveheart’s White Balloon Day is an important cause that Busy Bees believes in wholeheartedly and is a crucial one to support in our mission to give every child the best start in life”.

“Busy Bees Australia equally recognise that connectivity through community is important to build impact and raise awareness for causes that foster positive outcomes for our children, people and families, working together in unity to create a better future. That is why Busy Bees Australia is so excited to be partnering with Bravehearts in 2021 as an official partners for White Balloon Day.
“As an Early Learning provider, we understand that in many cases, we are representing the child’s voice. White Balloon Day supports the Busy Bees value of Care and enables us to work in partnership with Bravehearts to recognise the importance and advocacy of child protection and educate the wider community about how we can protect our children from child sexual assault” stated Ms Alston.

It is with partnerships such as these we can continue on our Vision of making Australia the safest place in the world to raise a child. Should you wish to know more about partnering with us connect with Michelle via email on michelleb@bravehearts.org.au or phone (07) 5552 3060.
