“We’re a business that originated on the Gold Coast and are active in our community wherever possible. We’re always on the lookout for inspiring local initiatives and causes that we can get behind.

Bravehearts’ annual White Balloon Day was brought to our attention by a staff member and our involvement was a natural progression. Our team is made up of people who are also mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, grandmothers and grandfathers, so it’s safe to say that children are a part of our everyday. Our alignment with a children’s charity, especially one doing such great things so close to home just made sense.

Our ‘Community Fund’ was founded to represent our ongoing commitment to ongoing community contributions and to inspire people in our business community to join us in getting involved in causes close to our hearts. We’re proud to be able to contribute to White Balloon Day and hope that our involvement makes a difference to the cause.”

“At Busy Bees, we take care very seriously. By upholding our 4 key values of Care, Quality, Service and Value, Busy Bees continues to work to the highest standards we can, to ensure every child has the best start in life.

As we continue to be the leading global early education and care provider, Busy Bees are dedicated to protecting children from abuse and neglect and promote a safe child environment, maintaining children’s wellbeing throughout all our Services. We work in collaboration with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the children and have confidence in educating children about their rights to be safe. We believe in teaching children what to do if they feel unsafe and encouraging them to express their view and thoughts on matters that directly affect them.

It is with this shared acknowledgment and commitment of protecting children, that Busy Bees Australia are proud to announce our participation in Bravehearts’ 24th annual White Balloon Day, Friday September 11, 2020. We fully support the vital Services that Bravehearts provides in preventing child sexual assault and exploitation.”
