Get Involved in White Balloon Day

CLUBS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS

Are you a sporting club, community group or organisation that wants to protect the children in your community? No matter how big or small your club or group, we need you to come together on Friday September 6 and put child protection at the top of your agenda! There are lots of ways communities can get involved in White Balloon Day – scroll on for more info!

MAKE THE PLEDGE

This year we are asking all supporters to take a few seconds to make a PLEDGE TO PROTECT kids. All you have to do is complete the pledge form with your club or group’s name and email address and that’s it!

If you would like us to send you a free SUPPORTER KIT you will also need to provide your postal address (but this is not compulsory).

Making the Pledge is important because it helps us with reporting back to the Australian Government about the number of people who care about child protection in Australia. So please make the Pledge to protect today!

USEFUL RESOURCES

IS YOUR CLUB OR GROUP CHILD SAFE?

Are you doing all you can to ensure the children and young people that come into contact with your club or group are safe? Have your members, staff and volunteers had appropriate child protection training? Do you think you could do more to meet the key elements of child safe institutions?

Bravehearts is here to help. Our organisation sets the standard in child protection training and risk management for schools and organisations. Bravehearts’ training team is here to help your club or group not only meet, but surpass the 10 key elements of child safe institutions that came out of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
